  1. Vanessa says:

    1. Name three unmemorable things about Lepidus. Name one.

He had the smallest third of the empire, and the most memorable thing he did was unite Antony and Octavian in their desire to kick him out of the triumvirate.

    2. Rank the following love affairs. (Be passionate)

Oh God, I have to be passionate and brief! The most exciting love affair has got to be B, for reasons that are too long-winded to explain in brief.

    4. Who is a better role model for women, Lucretia or the wolf?

I’m not entirely sure what wolf we’re talking about here, but as I remember, Lucretia was the one who killed herself because she was ashamed of being raped, so I’d say anyone would be better then her.

    6. Compose a dirge for the second triumvirate. (Be lyrical) b

    The triumvirate ruled the land
    Lepidus Antony and Octavian
    They thought they were grand
God rest their souls in heaven

Brothers of war, but not united
Antony, the victor, Lepidus the forgettable
Stood together until they were divided
But there was one more, Octavian, and I don’t remember anything about him… regrettable.

    7. Does invading Russia in the winter ever work?

    C

    8. Illustrate how many elephants Sextus Pompey should have used against Octavian. (Draw full-scale, please)

    10. Predict:

    a) how many future artists will misinterpret the “Rape of the Sabine women.”

    Approximately all of them.

    b) how many high school students just snickered at that phrase.

    1340.
